MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 20, 2000 <br />THE BUILDING WILL REVERT BACK TO THE 50/50 <br />OFFICE/WAREHOUSE USE PREVIOUSLYAPPROVED BYTHE <br />COUNCIL SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITYPLANNER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LaValle asked how the overhead doors will be screened from view. The <br />City Planner reported that the site plan shows landscaping with evergreens <br />for screening as well as side walls to screen the doors from view on <br />Country Drive. <br />2001 BUDGET Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing for consideration of the 2001 <br />Budget. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />the Budget. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />The City Administrator reported that the 2001 Budget reflects a 3.81% net <br />levy increase over the 2000 Budget. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2000-12-287-APPROVING THE 2001 BUDGET <br />AS PRESENTED BY CITY STAFF AND CERTIFYING A NET TAX <br />LEVY OF $1,439,103.00 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-12-288 -APPROVING THE 2001 BONDED <br />INDEBTEDNESS TAX LEVYREDUCTIONASBECOMMENDED <br />BY CITYSTAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Fahey, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
