MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 20, 2000 <br />building were leased to several contractors, the traffic and noise generated <br />would likely be greater. <br />Zoch pointed out that another concern is the berm along Condit pointing <br />out that the wood chips from the berm are washing into the street. She <br />suggested that the height of the berm be lowered and that the berm be <br />surfaced in grass. <br />Fahey noted the recommendations of the Planning Commission address <br />this issue as well as hours of operation and other details. <br />There was no one else present from the general public wishing to <br />comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion. by LaValle, seconded by Pedersen, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Fahey indicated that he cannot support the proposal unless the semi trucks <br />are completely enclosed inside of the building and the landscaping plan be <br />revised to address the concerns raised by adjacent property owners. <br />Mr. Fahey inh~oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2000-12-285 -APPROVING THE AMENDMENT <br />TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR COUNTRYSIDE <br />TERRACE OFFICE PARK SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSIONAND <br />SUBJECT TO CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING SO THAT THE <br />SEMI TR UCKS AND ALL DELIVERY VEHICLES ARE <br />COMPLETELY INSIDE THE BUILDING WHEN LOADING AND <br />UNLOADING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (3) Fahey, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (2) Scalze, Morelan.
