MINUTES <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />March 2, 2000 <br />DIRECTOR'S The Parks & Recreation Director passed out the current recreational activities flyer for the <br />REPORT Commission to review. He also handed out information on a public meeting that Ramsey <br />County Parks & Recreation will hold at the City Center regarding future improvements to <br />Gervais Beach. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. <br />The Parks & Recreation Director stated that Millenium Charity Plus (formerly Little Canada <br />Charity Plus) has committed a $5,000 donation toward replacement of the park bleachers. <br />The Parks & Recreation Director commented that the only grant that appears worth applying <br />for this year is the Waterworks trail extension. However, the railroad track crossing is an <br />obstacle. The Director will be contacting representatives of the railroad to see if a solution <br />could be reached.
