MINUTES
Parks & Recreation Commission
May 4, 2000
concerns as far as fencing, shrubbery, and the %2 basketball court. After discussion about
these items the residents seemed more comfortable with the ideas proposed so far and
seemed eager to see a more finalized plan in the future. They also asked to be invited back at
that time to review them once again.
The question also arose as to how the name of the park was going to come about. The
commission seemed open at this time to ideas, but was not prepared to make a decision at
this meeting. The Rondean Family was interested in having the park named after their family
who had owned that land for over 100 years. There also seemed to be interest from other
residents as to naming the park after the family, but the decision will have to come at a later
meeting.
ADJOURN Danielson recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Larson.
Motion carried 7 - 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Jessica Jagoe
