MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MARCH 9, 2000 <br />Knudsen pointed out that the westerly parcel has access via LaBore <br />Road. Knudsen asked if the new home would have access via <br />Keller Parkway. O'Neil replied that that was correct. <br />Mrs. Hedlund, 655 Keller Parkway, asked if all setbacks would be <br />met. The City Planner replied that the proposed lot exceeds the <br />City's minimum requirements. Setbacks will have to be met as <br />part of the building permit process. The Planner also noted that <br />there is an existing shed on the property that will have to be <br />moved. The Planner indicated that he has recommended a 70 foot <br />setback for the house from Keller Parkway. However, the <br />applicant has indicated that it will be difficult to set the house back <br />70 feet given the terrain of the lot. The house will meet minimum <br />setback requirements, however. <br />The property owner at 636 LaBore Road was concerned that the <br />access for the new lot would be via LaBore Road. O'Neil reported <br />that the new lot will have road access via Keller Parkway. <br />Mr. Barraclough recommended approval of the property division <br />for 666 LaBore Road as requested by Mrs. Patricia O'Neil subject <br />to compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner. <br />Motion seconded by Montour <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />SUP FOR Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bixby, 2622 Jackson Street, appeared before <br />HOME the Council requesting approval of a Special Use Permit for a <br />OCCUPATION - home occupation. The Planning Commission noted the City <br />2622 JACKSON Planner°s recommendation that the special use permit be limited <br />STREET - BIXBY to one year's duration and that the applicant find a commercial <br /> location for his business. Bixby indicated that he is currently <br /> looking for a new location. <br />The Planner indicated that home occupation permits typically have <br />a one year review period. <br />Carson pointed out that the recommendation is for a one year <br />permit with no renewal. The Planner replied that that was correct, <br />although the applicant can always request an extension. The <br />Planner indicated that hopefully the applicant will find a <br />
