MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MAY 11, 2000 <br />REZONING Montour recommended approval of the rezoning of the Jackson Street <br />JACKSON Park property from Single-Family Residential (R-1) to Public (P). <br />STREET PARK <br />PROPERTY Motion seconded by Barraclough. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />AMENDING The City Planner presented a Zoning Code amendment relating to the <br />THE SIGN Sign Ordinance, which includes sign ordinance provisions in the various <br />ORDINANCE individual Zoning Districts. The Planner pointed out that this is a <br />clarification of the Code and more clearly delineates the sign ordinance <br />requirements for each Zoning District. <br />Kraemer recommended approval of an ordinance amending Section <br />903.110 of the Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, <br />by providing for sign regulations in the B-4, I-P, P, and PLTD Districts. <br />Motion seconded by Duray. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />DEFINITION The City Planner presented a Zoning Ordinance amendment which <br />OF MEDICAL provides for a clearer definition of medical clinic eliminating chemical <br />CLINICS dependency treatment centers from the definition. <br />Knudsen recommended approval of an ordinance amending Section 902 of <br />the Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, by <br />providing for amended definitions of "Medical Clinics" and <br />"Rehabilitation Centers". <br />Motion seconded by Kraemer. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />REDEVELOP- The City Planner presented an amendment to the City's Comprehensive <br />MENT Plan as well as Zoning Code relative to allowed uses and site plan <br />DISTRICT NO. requirements in Redevelopment District No. 3-2 at Rice Street and <br />3-2 Little Canada Road. The Planner pointed out that these amendments <br />clarify allowances for housing within the PUD District, specifically as <br />
