The clerk presented to the Council an application for an off-sale 3.2 beer license and a cigaret license from one Maack I~. Luford. Upon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Uitale, it was "RL'SOLU:C~7D, That th.e application of I~iack H, Luford for an off-sale beer license and cigaret license be P;ranted and the Clerk is instructed to issue said licenses. Ayes - 5 Nays.- 0 The .resolution was adop't-ed. `1'he clerk brought to the attention of the Council the fact that many people have been complaining about the dangerous condition of the intersection of highway #36 and McMenemy Hoad due to the fact that there is no arc light and. that it is virtually im- possible to see the road intersection a't night so that it is ex- ceedinP;ly dangerous when people are attempting to turn off of High- way 13~~ onto McI~%enemy. Upon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Uitale, it was "HESOLVrIll, That the Clerk wril;e a letter to the Board of County Commissioners advising the Board of this dangerous condition and requesting that 'the county install an arc light at ;:lighway il`36 and ljcl~'ienemy Road and also at Park Lane acid McP4enemy road.." The clerk ca7.led the attention of the Council to the fact that the next regular village election will be held on Tuesday, December 7th, which would be the normal meeting date for. th.e Uil- lage ~-ounci.l and that therefore some otkzc;r date for the next regu- lar meeting of the Uillage Council should be selected.
