The Cler}c read a letter from Commissioner Hoffmann. of the State }Iighway Department to Mr. Memmer, Village Attorrdey, pointing out that the Highway Departmerri; has taken. steps to delineate by means of reflectorized material the inter>ection of Highway ~,~36 and McA+Ienemy Road. The letter was received and filed. The Clerk read a letter from Representative Joe Kartlt to the Highway Commissioner with reference to the same intersection. This letter was also received and placed, on file, The Clerk read a letter from the National Institute of Municipal Clerks asking the Village to appoint its clerlt as a member, This letter was received and placed on file. The Clerk read a letter from the Tovm of New Canada stat- ing that. the Toum has mailed a check in the sum of ~>295.00 in set- tlement of.' the personal property division between the Township and the Village pursuant to the agreement of division of assets made be- tween these two municipalities in August, 195~a-• This letter was re- ceived and placed on file.
