Regular Nleetirrg .- March 1, 195 <br />all village officials were invited to attend, This meeting would be <br />held for the purpose of discussing the allocation of county road <br />and bridge fund money to the various towns and municipalities. <br />The Mayor announced that the hearing .for the vacation of <br />that portion of New CanadawDesoto Street Cutoff running between Second <br />Avenue and Third Avenue and across Block 30, Dawsonys Suburban Acre <br />Lots was now open, No persons appeared in objection to the proposed <br />vacation, Upon motion by Spooner, seconded by Nadeau, it was <br />"R>;SOLVI:D, That that portion of New Canada- <br />Desoto Street Cutoff (ungraded) running between <br />Second Avenue anal Third Avenue and across Block <br />30, Dawson~s Suburban Acre Lots in the Village of <br />Little Canada, which road is sometimes refPrre.d <br />to as Little Canada Road and also as St. Paul and <br />Little Canada Territorial Road, is hereby vacated." <br />Ayes - L{. Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted, <br />1Tpon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"R)/SOLVED, That the following persons be and <br />are hereby appointed as the Board oi' Health for <br />the Village of Little Canada for the year 1,955: <br />Dr. F„ VJ, Ostergren, Chairman. anal Health Officer, <br />761_ L.al>ore Road., St, Paui, Minnesota <br />Clement T. Bougie, Member of the Hoard of Health, <br />287(1 Nadeau Road, St. Paul, Minnesota <br />Richard Millen, ivIember of the Board of Health, <br />2220 Hendry Place, St. Paui, Minnesota" <br />Ayes w L~. Nay> - 0 <br />T'he resolution was adopted. <br />Upon motion by Spooner, seconded by Nadeau, it was <br />"RFSOL.VBI), That the Clerk be and is hereby <br />authorized to suspend the requirement for bonds <br />for: 1) Cement work, 2) general construction, <br />3) plastering, 4) electrical wiring, ~) plumbing, <br />6) well drilling, 7) roofing, F3) sign and bill <br />board erect.in.g, and 9) excavating, as set forth <br />in Section C3 of the Building Code in all instances <br />where the applicant for a license produces a cer- <br />tificate of insurance showing that he has public <br />liability insurance in amount of not less than <br />Twenty-fi.ve Thousand Dollars 025,000,00) for one <br />injury and nifty Thousand Dollars (~j>50,000,00) for <br />one acciderat.° <br />Ayes -- 1_~_ Na.ys - 0 <br />The resolution u~a~ adopted. <br />2 d <br />
