MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA <br />The regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Lit- <br />tle Canada was held at the Little Canada Fire Ha11 on Tuesday, April <br />5, 1955 at 7:30 P.M. The following Council members were presents <br />Loufs W. Melancon, Mayor; Roy P. Nadeau, Clerk; <br />Edward R. Loeffler, Carl Spooner, John M. Vitale, <br />Trustees. <br />.Also present were Fred P. Memmer, Village Attorney, Oscar Londin, <br />Building Inspector, Louis .lesperson, Road Foreman, Walter Coenen, <br />Deputy Cierlc, and Al Johnson, Electrical Inspector. <br />Tyre minutes of the regular meeting <br />approved as read. <br />Mr. Thomas Wenzel of 2395 Edgerton <br />Village Council to assist Yrim in procuring a <br />across the City Water Department property at <br />intersection of the extention of County Road <br />Loeffler, seconded by Spooner, it was <br />of March 1, 1955 were <br />Street requested the <br />street right of way <br />McPlenemy Road and the <br />B2. Wenzei.° <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Miss .Io 5teichen asked to be heard and she requested that <br />the Village Council do something to control the running of dogs <br />within the Village. She stated t11at some children have been bitten <br />by dogs and she suggested that I;he Village adopt a licensing ordi« <br />nance,. Others in the audience who voiced agreement and ,joined with <br />her in asking for such action by the Council were Nlr. and Mrs. Ben <br />McKenzie -- Upon motion by Spooner, seconded <br />by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That the Village Attorney prepare <br />proposed dog ordinance and that a sper,ial meeting <br />of t11e Council be held on Wednesday evening, April <br />20, 19.55 at 7;30 P,M. for the purpose, of a public <br />hearing on 1.he subject; also that the clerk he <br />iatst,ruct:ed to publicize such a meeting in the Rose <br />Ta•ibune." <br />Ayes - 5 <br />Nays - 0 <br />The resolution way ~.dopted. <br />
