Regular Meeting - August 2, 1955 <br />that they have no objection to using a basement residence and that <br />when such a petition is presented, the Council will consider the rem <br />quest and act upon it. Mr. Johnson was also advised that in order to <br />live in a basement home temporarily he must present a bond guarantying <br />that he would finish the home within two years. <br />Mr. Lawrence Gaudette, 2880 Edgerton St., stated that he had <br />purchased the property on the corner of LaDore and Edgerton and that <br />he wishes to make three lots out of this one parcel. Mr. Gaudette was <br />advised to have a surveyor lay out the lots and present it to the Coun- <br />cil at the next regular meeting. He was also advised as to the Village <br />regulations concerning lot sizes. <br />Mr. Wallace Tereau, 75 East County Road C., stated that he <br />had been called upon by the Board of Health of the Village in response <br />to complaints that he was keeping pigs and also burning wrecked cars. <br />Mr. Millette of the Roard of Health was present and reported to the <br />Council that Mr. Tereau had quit burning cars and that the two pigs he <br />was keeping were being cared for in such a way as to minimize any odors <br />or nuisance. He also advised the Council that the neighbor adjacent to <br />the West of Mr. Tereau keeps sheep on his property. "fhe report of the <br />health officer was accepted. <br />Mr. AI Johnson, 388 E. Viking Drive, was present and registered <br />a complaint with reference to the construction of Third Street in the <br />Dawson Addition. Upon motion by Spooner, seconded by Vitale, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that the subject of this street con- <br />strnr"tion be referred to the Village Attorney and the <br />Village Engineer for further report." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adapted. <br />Upon motion by Spooner, seconded by Vitale, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That the Clerk and Treasurer be and <br />are hereby author°i zed and instructed to refund to <br />Henry Auge a $12.00 contractor's license which was <br />erroneously collected when l~r. Auge applied for a <br />building permit to construct his own home®" <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Upon. motion by Vitale, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That Noel Street from the intersec- <br />tion of Farm Street to a point 200 feet North b;~ re- <br />surfaced and that the Street Supervisor be instructed <br />to proceed with the wor}t." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />2 <br />
