VI1,l..A,GE OF LITTLE CANADA <br />;; <br />A special meeting of the Council of the Village of Kittle <br />Canada vaas held Friday, February 1, 1957 at 7t30 P.M. a.t the Fire <br />HaII, pursuant to call. <br />The following Council members vaere present: <br />Louis VJ. Melarrcon, Mayor; Roy F'. Nadeau, <br />Clerk; Carl Spooner and John Vitale, <br />Trustees. <br />Edv/ar<i l.,oeffl.er, Truste.e,, eras absent. Alsc present were Walter Coenen, <br />Treasurer, and L. W. Jespersen, Road Superintendent. <br />The Clerk explained that his original idea in having the <br />regular meeting date changed from the first Tuesday was to give more <br />time for the monthly bills to come in. Hy moving it to the last Vled- <br />nesday, the situation was not materially corrected anc] he recommended <br />that the regular meeting be held on the second Wednesday of each <br />month. <br />Upon rnoticn by Nadeau, seconded by Vitale, it was <br />"RF,SO1_,VFD, That the regular meetings of the Coun- <br />cil of the Village of Little Canac9a be held at the <br />Fire Hai i at i1.Ii.0 r. i..ittle Canada Road a.t 7:30 P.M. <br />on 'the second Wednesday of each month commencing with <br />the second Wednesday in February which is February <br />13, i~j'j,n <br />Ryes - Li. Nays - 0 <br />The resolution. wa.s adopted. <br />The 1:3uiiding Management Committee of the Little Canada Fire <br />Department appeared before the Council to discuss the matter of fees <br />and charges for rental of the Fire ]-fall. by the Village. After consid- <br />erable discussion it was suggested that the Council submit to the <br />Fire Department in writing the times and uses of the hall required by <br />the Village so that there will be no misunderstanding about. what use <br />the li'illage desires to make of tl:e hall during the coming year. <br />Upon. motion by Vitale, seconded by Nadeau, it was <br />"RESOLVi:D, That the Cleric f'orwa.rd to the Fire <br />Department a letter i.n whi.ch the Fire Department <br />will he notified of all meetings, elections, et.c. <br />wi~ich must he held by the Council during the year <br />and that the Fire Department be requested in that <br />
