Menuner also reported that pursuant to instruct9.ons from the Vi].].age <br />Counc9.l as set forth in the minutes of the meeting held i.n November, he had con- <br />tacted Sheriff Gibbons' office in regard 1;o a request of boys in the Vila.age ask- <br />ing 'thst they be authorized to conduct auto races on Sunday afternoons on :cake Ger- <br />vais. Mr. Mennner xeported thab he had also talked with Kermit Redman in th.e Sher- <br />iff's office and that that office is disposed to permit these boys to conduct such <br />a race provided that they wait until there is sufficient snow on the lake so that <br />a track'. can be formed by plowf.ng the snow. The Sheriff's office feels that the boys <br />should be given an opportunity to see what they can do and if it works out a17. <br />right, it may be probable that they could continue to have such xaces during the <br />winter season on Sunday afternoons. <br />The Cleric xeported that; Nrs.
