A4INUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA <br />a~#~ <br />The regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Little Canada was <br />held at the Little Canada Fire Hall on Wednesday, February 12, 195$, at 7:30 P.M. <br />The following Council members were present: <br />Louis W. PQelancon, Mayor; Roy P. Nadeau, Clerk; <br />Edward Loeffler, Carl Spooner, John M. Vitale, <br />Trustees. <br />Also present were Walter Coenen, Treasurer; L. G. Jespersen, Road Superintendent; <br />Fred P. N,en~rner, Village Attorney; and Oscar F. Londin, Building Inspector. <br />Minutes of the regular meeting of January 8th and the special meeting <br />of January 31st were approved as read. <br />Mr. McCubrey, engineer from the Minnesota State Highway Department, ap- <br />peared before the Council and presented plans for the construction of the highway <br />separation bridge to be built on Little Canada Road where the new Highway X10 will <br />pass under Little Canada Road. He left a set of blueprints pertaining to the <br />bridge and asked the Council to adopt a resolution approving the bridge as designed <br />by the Highway Department. <br />Upon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Spooner, the following resolution was <br />unanimously adopted: <br />"WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Highways has prepared plans <br />and specifications for the improvement of a part of Trunk High- <br />way No. 390 within the corporate limits of the Village of Little <br />Canada T.H. 390 undex CSAH No. 21; and <br />"tiHEREA5, Said plans are on file in the office of the De- <br />partment of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, <br />labeled, and identified as S.P. 6280-17 (T.H. 390) Bridge No. 6508; <br />and <br />"WIiEREl1S, Said specifications are on file 3n the office of <br />the Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, <br />labeled, and identified as S.P. 6280-17 (T.H. 390) Minn. 1390-2 <br />(21), Br. 6508 which, together with the Minnesota Department of <br />Highways Specifications for Highway Construction, dated July 1, <br />19+7, and Supplement No. 1 to the Minnesota Department of Highways <br />Specifications for Highway Construction, effective April 15, 1953, <br />on file in the office of the Commissioner of Highways, constitute <br />the specifications for said improvement of Trunk Highway Number 390; <br />and <br />"WHEREAS, Copies of said plans and specifications as so marked, <br />labeled, and identified are also on file 3n the office of the Vil- <br />lage Clerk; and <br />
