Regular 6Teeting - March 12, 1958 <br />Mr. Louis Jespersen, Street Super9.ntendent, informed the Council that. <br />Eli Road needs to be resurfaced and probably 'raised at certain locations. He <br />si:ated that this street has been getting worse each year and that it should be re- <br />paired this year so that it will not have to be re-wox•ked each year, <br />Upon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, 't'hat Mr, Carley, Vil7.age Engineer, he and ~is <br />hereby instructed to make a survey of Eli Road from Centerville <br />Road to DeSOto StreeY,, and Desoto Street from Eli Road to LaBore <br />Road, and to report to the Council at the next regular meeting <br />on April 9, 1958, and that a copy of this resolution be forwarded <br />by the Cleric to the Village Engineer." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted, <br />T(xe Mayor reported that on March 6, 1958, he and the Clerk had instirtteted <br />the County Engineer to post load limit signs on the village streets. <br />Upon motion by Loefiler, seconded by Vitale, it was <br />"RESOLVED, 'that the Council hereby directs that the following <br />named village streets be posted for 3-Ton Load Limit immediately: <br />"Allen Street <br />Arlcwright Street <br />Burr Street <br />Clark Street <br />Desoto Street <br />Eli Road <br />Flower Street <br />Crreenbrier Street <br />highway Drive <br />Sacicson Street <br />LaBore Road west o:f <br />Edgerton <br />Laurie Road <br />Morrison Street <br />Noel Drive <br />Owasso Boulevard South <br />Park Lane <br />Savage Lane <br />Sunrise Drive <br />Third 51:reet <br />Twin Lake Road south of <br />North Owasso Boulevard <br />"and further, that the action of the Mayor and Cleric whereby <br />they had authorised the County Engineer to post village streets <br />be and is hereby fully approved." <br />Ayes - 5 ~ Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Myers Frattalone, Chief of Police, advised the Council that as a result <br />of a leiaer written by the Village Attorney, Mr, Runestrand had returned his police <br />badges and ticket book to Officer Frattalone. He also stated that there will be in- <br />struction classes for Civilian Defense beginning immediately. These classes will be <br />held at Falcon Heights. <br />The Cleric read Voucher Nos. 1042 through 1060, inclusive. Upon motion <br />by Loeffler, seconded by Spooner, it sYas <br />- 2 - <br />
