This petition was received by <br />the Council. <br />Upon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Vitale, it wRs <br />"RESOLVED, That the petition Por the vacation of Eighth <br />Street in Rice Street Motor Line Addition be set for hearing <br />at the June 11th meeting of the Village Council at the hour <br />of 8;00 o'clock P.M., and that the Clerk publish and post <br />proper notices." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />The Clerk read a letter received Prom Mrs. M. Merrill of 339 Little <br />Canada Road requesting a hard liquor license. Since there are no liquor licenses <br />available, the letter was placed on file. <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That the Village pay the sum of Five and 00/100 <br />($5.00) Dollars as annual dues to the Ramsey County Municipal <br />Officials A sociation." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Upon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That the County Engineer be requested to oil the <br />streets in the Village oP Little Canada and that the list oP <br />streets to be oiled be prepared by the Clerk and forwarded to <br />the County Auditor." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Spooner, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That the Village Attorney be and is hereby <br />instructed to investigate and report back to the Council <br />the matter of allocation oP gasoline tax money under the <br />new state laws." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. 3 <br />
