<br />Company to operate its public service bus line on Rice Street from Little Canada <br />Road northward to the north Village limits <br />AYe$ - 5 N&Ys - ~ <br />The Glerk advised the Council of election on November 8th and the Council <br />authorized the appointments of Judge and Clerk for the election. <br />Mr. Memmer pointed out that he had written a letter to the City Water <br />Department demanding on behalf o£ the Village of Little Canada that work be done <br />to repair Eli Road, Desoto Street and LaBore Road between Centerville Road and <br />Edgerton Street since these streets were heavily used by detoured traffic during <br />the periods when Centerville Road and Little Canada Road were closed becuase of <br />construction of the water line. <br />Upon motinn by Vitale, seconded by Loeffler' it was <br />RESOLVED, that the Villa ge Engineer make an estimate of repair work needed <br />on Eli Road, Desoto Street and LaBore Road between Centerville Road and Edgerton <br />Street and that when such estimate hsa been prepared, that it be turned over to <br />the Village Attorney to be forwarded to the St. ]Paul City Water Department. <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Melaneon, it was <br />RESOLVED, that the Clerk and the Treasurer be, and are hereby, instructed <br />to pay the second half of the fire protection contract fee to the Little Canada <br />Volunteer Fire Department. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />Upon motion by Melancon, seconded by L <br />9:55 p.
