Regular 14eetin~ Febrr r 8, 1g61 <br />Mr. Donald Carley, of Carley and Associates, Village "iaigineers, re- <br />ported that he has completed a preliminary survey and report fo:c the construction <br />of a sanitary sewer system in the Village of Little L"ana,da. IIe pointed out that <br />his written reports together with maps is quite voluminous, and that he vrould <br />like to present this to the Council at the Carley Company offices on Hvey. g6 in <br />Shorev:ievr on February 15, 1861 at 7:39 p. m. The Council agreed to assemble at that <br />time, to hear the peport. <br />The Clerk read a letter. from the Ramsey County Engineer, which was <br />received and placed on file. <br />The Clerk read a letter £rom the Ramsey County Auditor, concerning a <br />request for street light on Il~2cMenenGy Road and 1?ose Lane, said letter indicating <br />that the County Board did not favor placing a light at this location. <br />Upon mot:i.on by Vitales seconded by Coenen, it eras <br />"RESOLVED, that the request to establish alight on <br />McMenemy Road and Rose Lane be delayed until further study <br />and 'bhat the Clerk so advise the Board of Ramsey Cowlty <br />Camuissioners.'" <br />Ayes - 5 <br />Nays-0 <br />Up Upon motion by Losf£ler, seconded by Vitale, it was <br />"RESOLVED, 1;hat Street lights be installed in G`Jilsons <br />Addition at the following designated intersections: <br />Morrison & Demont - Sextant and Morrison - and Demont and <br />Savage Lane, and 'the Clerk is hereby instructed to order said <br />lights to be installed by Northern States Power and also to <br />request cooperation of the County Board in maintaining said <br />lights." <br />Ayes - 5 <br />Nays - 0 <br />The Clerk presented a copy of the -report of Sheriff Hedman of police <br />vrork in Little 6anada during the month of January. This report was received and <br />placed on file. <br />`The Clerk also presented the report of 'the Village Police Chief for <br />the month of January.
