MINiPl'ES OT' THN REGULAR MELTING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF.' LI'1''PLE CANADA <br />~ ~ -x- <br />The regular meeting of the Council of the 'Village of Little Canadas was <br />held at the Little Canada Fire Hall' 4¢0 E. Little Canada Roads on July 129 1961 <br />at 7:30 P.M. 'i'he following Council members vrere present: <br />Louis 4V. Melancony h4ayor; Vlalter E. Coeneny Clerk; John M. Vitals <br />and Carl Spoonery Trustees. <br />Absent was Edvrard Loeffler' Trustee. <br />Also present weres Frederick P. It7emmery Village Attorney; Richard Boss' <br />'t'reasurer; Louis Jesperson9 Road Supervisor; and Oscar Londin' Building <br />Inspector. <br />Upon motion by Vitale' seconded by Spoonery it was <br />"HESOLVE'Ds that the minutes of the regular meeting of June 12 and <br />the special meeting of June 'L1 be approved as read." <br />Itryes - 4 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />IFtr. Roy Culver o.f 2935 Arcade Street presented a petition bearing his name <br />and explained that he has been attempting to sell his home and that the real state <br />agent has depreciated his property by approximately $3,000.00 to $4,000.00 because <br />of a junk yard at 777 LaBore Road on property ovrned and occuppied by Mr. Henry J. <br />Fa,cklam. After considerable discussion and after hearing Mr. Facklams Iti4rs. Ernest <br />Enstrom and Mrs. Furlongs the council decided to personally visit the property <br />immediately upon adjournment of this meeting. <br />Upon motion by Spooner, seconded by Vitales it was <br />"RESOLVED, that Mr. Henry Jo T'acklam be gxanted thirty (30) days <br />from July 12th to remove all junk and salvage material from his <br />prernises and that if this material is not removed by August 12th <br />that the Village prosecute 114x. Fa,cklam for violation of the zoning <br />law and also for violation of the health ordinance and the xiuisance <br />ordinance. Furthers that this resolution is subject to the condition <br />that if after inspection it is determined that Facklam is not violating <br />any ordinances he will be so notified and if he does not receive such <br />notification he is to be bound by this resolution since he is present <br />at the meeting and has participated in the discussion relating 'to this <br />resolution." <br />Ayes - ¢ Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />The Mayor reported that a ditch in 'Wilson Addition is blocked and after <br />explaining it was informally agreed that the Road Superintendnat clean out the ditch <br />and make the necessary repairs to clear up the storm watex dxainage problem in that area. <br />
