MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />Ob' THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA <br />* * .~ ~r <br />The regulax meeting of the Council of the Village of Little Canada was held at <br />the Little Canada Fire Hall, 440 E. Little Canada Road, on June 10, 1864 at 7s30 P.M. <br />The following Council members were presents <br />Walter Coenen; Clerk, Joseph Collova, M. Gene Jespersen and Ed Loeffler, <br />Trustees. <br />Absent wasa Carl Spooner, Mayor. <br />Also present were Oscar Londin, Building Inspector; L. G. Jespersen, Road <br />Supervisor; and Fred P. Memmer, Village Attorney. <br />Upon motion by Collova, seconded by Jespersen, the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of May 13, 1964 were approved as read. <br />,Yes - 4 <br />Nays - 0 <br />Several residents of Iona Lane appeared before 'the Council and voiced opinions <br />against the rezoning in their area. After discussion by the Council this matter vras <br />turned over to the Planning Commission for further studye <br />Mr. 'Ped Weisner, appeared before the Council and asked to be appointed Electrical <br />Inspector for the Village of Little Canada. <br />Upon motion by Jespersen, seconded by Collova, it was agreed that Mr. Weisner <br />be and is hereby appointed Electrical Inspector for the balance of the year 196¢ and <br />also that the eleotrical fee be raised to $12.00. It was also agreed by both the <br />Council and Mr. Weisner that any homeowner can do his own electrical wiring provided <br />the work meets with the Village Code and approved by the Inspector. <br />Ayes - 4 <br />Nays - 0 <br />Mr. William Stenger appeared before the Council and asked for permission to <br />operate a used car lot on property he has intentions of purchasing on Rice Street. <br />'.Phis property is now owned and operated by Al Kuhlman. <br />Upon motion by Coenen, seconded by Jespersen, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that Mr. William Stenger be and is hereby granted permission <br />to use the property on Rice Street which he is contemplating purchasing <br />as a used oar lot, provided he signs an agreement to be drawn up by the <br />Village Attorney as to restrictions to be placed on the used oar lot." <br />Ayes - 4 <br />Nays - 0 <br />`The resolution was adopted. <br />Mr. Arnold. Anderson appeared before the Council stating that he would like to <br />develop his property on McMeneu~y Road and would like permission from the Water Works <br />Department to oross Water Works property to get to his property. This matter was <br />referred to the Village Engineer to get an estimate of the cost of building a road <br />for access to his property. <br />
