Mr. Londin' Building Inspector, reported to the Council on the sewage problem <br />on Mr. Leurer~s property on Greenbrier Street, It was reported that several letters <br />have been written to him with regard to this matter. The Council referred the matter <br />to the Village Health 0£ficer for investigation. <br />The Clerk reported on sewage problem at the trailer court located at 2442 Rice <br />Street. This matter was turned over to the Village Health Offioer with instruotions <br />to contact the State Health Officer. <br />The Clerk read a petition signed by residents of the area of Demont Street and <br />Morrison Street in regard to the water hole on Demont. This matter was referred to <br />the Village Health Officer with instructions to contaot the property owners and notify <br />them of this complaint. The water hole is located on property on the north side of <br />Demont Street between 307 and 333 E. Demont. <br />The Clerk read a letter received from Carl F. Bucher, Ramsey County Weed Inspector, <br />requesting that all weeds in the Village of Little Canada be but by September 1, 1864. <br />The Clerk read a letter from the Northern States Power Company with regard to a <br />reduction in natural gas rates. <br />Mr. Jespersen advised the Counoil that the Little Canada Recreation Association <br />is again planning a ¢th of July oelebration and asked some financial help from the <br />Village. <br />Upon motion by Loeffler, seconded by Collova' it was <br />"RESOLVED, that the Village of Little Canada donate $300.00 to the <br />Recreation Association for the 4th of July celebration expenses." <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Upon motion by Loeffler, seconded by Jespersen, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that 3.2 On-Sale beer licenses be issued to Richard Jacobsen, <br />Arnold Olson, Venetian Tnn, Ina. Gordon Nadeau, Frank Braunsen, McLund, <br />Inc. for the period commencing Ju1y1, 1964 and ending June 30, 1865." <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Upon motion by Loeffler, seconded by Collova, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that 3.2 Off-Sale beer licenses be issued to Richard Jacobsen, <br />Arnold Olson, Venetian Inn, Inc., Gordon Nadeau, Frank Braunsen, M~Lund, <br />Inc., and Little Canada Liquors, Inc. for the period .commencing July 1, <br />1864 and ending June 30, 1965." <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />The Clerk presented the report from the Municipal Court.
