IJIINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEE`PING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA <br />~ * ~ <br />The regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Little Canada was held at <br />the Little Canada Fire Hall, 440 E. Little Canada Road on IJevaI1;--196¢ at 7s30 <br />P.M. The following Council members were present. -:'r~ e°. <- 1 -- ~9L. ~' <br />Carl Spooner, Mayor; Walter Coenen, Clerk; Joseph Collova, M. Gene <br />Jespersen and Edward Loeffler, Trustees. <br />Also present were Fred P. Memmer, Village Attorney; Oscar Londin, Building <br />Inspector; Richard Boss, Treasurer; and L. Jespersen, Road Supervisor. <br />Upon motion by Jespersen, seconded by Collova, the minutes of the special <br />meeting of October 21, 1864, the special meeting of November 10, 1964 and the regular <br />meeting of November 11, 1964 were approved as reported by the Clerk. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />Richard Anderson, ¢265 Centerville Road, asked pernission to construct an A & W <br />root beer stand on the property located at the northeast corner of Rice Street and <br />South Owasso Boulevard. The size o£ the area is approximately 150 x 125 feet. <br />Upon motion by Jespersen, seconded by Loef£1er, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that the Building Inspector be and is hereby instructed <br />to issue a building permit for an A & W root beer stand on property <br />located at the northeast corner of Rice Street and South Owasso Blvd." <br />Ales - 5 N&ys - 0 <br />'Phe resolution was adopted. <br />John Vitale appeared before the Council with reference to his development of <br />the peninsula on Lake Gervais, formerly owned by F, J. Lang. After considerable <br />discussion, it was decided that a limited use could be made of the property. <br />Upon motion by Collova, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVP~, that the owners of said property must prepare and present <br />to the Village a copy of deed restrictions to be placed on file <br />establishing the area as a residential tract with private streets <br />and roads and that after such restrictive contract running with the <br />land has been placed of record and not before this has been done, <br />the building inspector may issue permits for the construction of <br />not more than six residences. It being understood that this limita- <br />tion is directly tied to the matter of sanitary sewage disposal. It <br />is the intention o£ the Council to restrict building to not more than <br />six houses unless and until public sanitary sewer system is j.n place <br />and ready to serve the ayes. The Building Inspector is further <br />instructed as to such permits as he issues shall be confined to <br />houses without basements in accordance with the rules and regulations <br />of the building code and zoning laws of the Village unless the <br />
