Meeting Dec. 18, 1972 Cont, ATTORNEY The attorney read a letter from the City of St. Paul concerning an Optican Ordiance " (An Optican is a '° Optican device which controlls traffic onto a freeway,) The attorney " Ordinance" stated he would make copies o£ the ordinance for each councilmen to read. If the Council desires that such ordinance is necessary then at the next meeting the ordinance should be ordered. i#ublic Representation Idems Mr, Glasrud approached the Council and stated that he and his attorney met with the Minn. Dept of Administration Building code section, Mr, Glasrud. Mr Glasrud stated that, it was the opinion of P4r. Myers, State building inspector, that si:ice P4r. Glasrud is providing a sprinkler system for the building and passed upon the information he has recieved., the building conforms to the code, because the code is a performence code, Mr. GLasrud requested that the Village concux with the fii4dings of the state building Dept. Mr. Layton stated he was informed of the states opinion but however he has not recieved any Teeter to that effect. P1r, Anderson stated that upon receipt of such Laeter £rom the state the council will take necessary action. VOUCFIERS: Upon the motion of Mr. De Bace and seconded by Mr. Rudy vouchers no, 8019 to 8102 were approved for pa}nnent. Ayes: Messrs: De Bace, Rudy: Chlebeck & Anderson Nayes 0 :Resolution adopted. Appreciation to The clerk took the opportunity to thank Mr. Anderson b1r, Anderson for all his services he has rendered to the Village, and requested that hds, name plate be p.,iven to him as a small token of appreciation® Upon the motion of Mr. Chlebeck and seconded by Pix. Rudy, it was resolved that: Mx. Anderson be given his name plate as a small token ®f appreciation, Ayes: Messrs: Chlebeck, Rudy and De Bace, Nayes 0 Abstaining : ~Mr. Anderson. page 8 Resolution adopted.
