Min, Reg, Meeting <br />Dec 18 1972 <br />Cont, <br />RECREATION riir, Rudy informed the Council that he and <br />Mr, Rudy Mr, Radford, has met with the owner of the land, proposed <br />for an office site, <br />Office <br />Site This matter should be continued at a latter <br />meeting, sometime in March, he mentioned, when more facts <br />can be presented for consideration. <br />Snowmobles Mr. Anderson again raised the question <br />concerning snowmobles using a private easement to the <br />Lake. He stated he does not mind the noise during the <br />day but at 1 in the morning its a nuisance. <br />The clerk asked the attorney if dedicated <br />streets and easements can be used for snowmoble trails, <br />It was the opinion of the attorney, the <br />ordinance states you can only use streets that are de- <br />signed for vehicular travel, <br />Mr. J, Campbell approached the Coucil <br />requesting assistance from the Village Council in <br />establishing snowmoble trails in the Village. Mr. J, <br />Campbell is a representative from the Little Canada <br />snowmoble club, <br />In his remarks P2r. Campbell stated that <br />the purpose of establishing trails in the Village is <br />to keep snowmobles out of residential areas, The trailh <br />will be marked. Mr. Campbell also presented a map of <br />the proposed trails, <br />Mr. Rudy mentioned that he is of the <br />opinion that North St. Paul has recieved permission <br />from the County to use certain streets for trails, <br />Mr. Anderson advised Mr. Campbell to <br />address a Letter to the Attorney stating the purpose <br />of the club and their intentions, regarding the trails. <br />Upon the motion o£ Mr. Rudy and seconded <br />by Mr. De Bace, it was resolved that, <br />The attorney is hereby instructed <br />to request permission from the <br />Ramsey County Board, to use certain <br />County Roads far Snowmoble trails <br />in the Village of Little Canada as <br />indicated on the proposed "Little <br />Canada Snowmoble Trail Map ". <br />Ayes: Messrs; Rudy, <br />Nayes 0 <br />Resolution adopted. <br />De Bace, Chlebeck & Anderson <br />page 7 <br />
