<br /> <br /> <br />SOURCE OF FUNDS: <br />The project was included in the 2020 Capital Improvement Plan at $102,400. It was presented to <br />the Little Canada Recreation Association at a recent meeting and the LCRA generously agreed to <br />fund the anticipated $102,000 cost of the total project. A copy of the relevant motion from the <br />LCRA meeting in December is shown below. There may be some additional grading required <br />over and above what was originally anticipated which may require additional funds. Staff <br />believes those additional costs can be absorbed in the Parks operating budget if necessary. <br /> <br />Little Canada Recreation Association Meeting Minutes – December 10, 2019 <br />“Old Fire Barn Rink Boards – Derek Anderson, Park Supervisor is requesting funds to improve and <br />enhance the Fire Barns Hockey Rink. His proposal includes new boards, fencing and cement work at a <br />cost of $102,000. Jon made a motion to donate $102,000 to the city to fund this project. The motion <br />was seconded by Dave.
