Page 1 <br /> <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 840 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 205 OF THE LITTLE CANADA <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby amends Chapter 205 of the <br />Little Canada Municipal by adding the underlined material and deleting the stricken material as <br />follows: <br /> <br />205. SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM <br /> <br />205.205. SITE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS – SEWAGE TREATMENT. <br /> <br /> <br />(2) Individual Sewage Treatment Systems. <br /> <br /> <br />(d) General Provisions <br /> <br />1. Treatment Required: All sewage generated in un-sewered areas <br />shall be treated and dispersed by an approved SSTS or a system permitted <br />by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br /> <br />2. Administrative Policy and Procedures: The Little Canada Public <br />Works Department and Building Official shall administer the SSTS <br />program and all provisions of this Ordinance. At appropriate times the <br />City shall review and revise this Ordinance as necessary. The City shall <br />employ or retain under contract a qualified employee and appropriately <br />licensed professional to administer and operate the SSTS program. <br /> <br />3. Variance Requests: A property owner may request a variance <br />from the standards as specified in this Ordinance pursuant to the <br />requirements provided in Minnesota State Statutes. The City shall <br />consider the requirements of Minnesota Rules Chapter 7082.0300, subp. <br />2 and 3 when considering such variances. Variances that pertain to the
