CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 840 <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 205 OF THE LITTLE CANADA <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />ORDAINS: Chapter 205 is amended as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1 <br /> <br /> SUMMARY PUBLICATION. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191, in the <br />case of a lengthy ordinance, a summary may be published. While a copy of the entire <br />ordinance is available without cost at the office of the City Clerk, the following summary <br />is approved by the City Council and shall be published in lieu of publishing the entire <br />ordinance: <br /> <br />The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the City Municipal Code – Chapter <br />205, Sanitary Sewer System, with language for the City’s Subsurface Sewage <br />Treatment System (SSTS) to comply with the Minnesota Pollution Control <br />Agency’s updated requirements. The major changes include adding more <br />language regarding permit applications, adding an approval process to address <br />requested changes to approved designs, and adopting a construction inspection <br />program for new and replacement SSTS. <br /> <br />Section 2 <br /> <br />Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective on December 20, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of Little Canada this 18th day of December, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br /> <br />BY: John T.
