RESOLUTION 2020-2- <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF AEON COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />WHEREAS, Provinces Apartments, 155 East Little Canada Road, was purchased by <br />Aeon in 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, Aeon is a multi-family residential housing provider in the Twin Cities that <br />provides housing for low and moderate income residents in Little Canada; and <br />WHEREAS, Aeon is requesting $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) funding to assist with window and patio door replacement at the Provinces <br />Apartments in Little Canada; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada supports the funding request from Aeon for Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding in the amount of $500,000 for the aforementioned <br />building maintenance needs. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Little <br />Canada that the City fully supports Aeon’s efforts to fund the rehabilitation of Provinces <br />Apartments in Little Canada and the submission of an application for grant funds through the <br />Community Development Block Grant program. <br />Dated: February 12, 2020 <br />Adopted: <br />John T.
