COVID-19 Preparedness Plan <br /> <br />Page 13 <br />Supervisor Guidance for Exposure <br />to Presumptive or Confirmed <br />COVID‐19 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Due to the private and protected information regarding an employee’s health, in these times of <br />COVID-19, it is critical that all information about the employee’s COVID-19 diagnosis and/or <br />exposure is shared immediately with the City Administrator to ensure that the city treats each <br />situation consistently and within the guidelines of all applicable laws. Under these procedures, the <br />City Administrator or City Clerk will coordinate communications with the affected employee, as <br />well as other city employees or members of the public that may been in contact with the affected <br />city employee. The City Administrator will also manage all communications with the general <br />public and the media regarding employees and COVID-19. <br />Below is guidance for Supervisors and Department Heads to follow if an employee or a member of <br />an employee’s household is diagnosed with, exhibiting symptoms of, or have been exposed to an <br />individual that has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
