COVID-19 Preparedness Plan <br /> <br />Page 16 <br /> <br /> Guidance for Exposure to Presumptive or Confirmed COVID-19 <br />Situation Communication to Employee Process to Notify City <br />Administrator <br />City Administrator <br />will do the following: <br />3. An employee indicates <br />that they or a member of <br />their household have <br />been exposed to an <br />individual that is <br />experiencing COVID‐19 <br />symptoms. <br />b) Instruct the employee to follow <br />their health care provider’s <br />guidance. Direct employee to <br />follow guidelines for exposure <br />and alternative working <br />arrangements if possible. <br />c) Indicate to the employee that <br />they should closely monitor <br />their symptoms, practice social <br />distancing and report any <br />COVID-19 like symptoms to their <br />supervisor immediately. <br />d) Direct the employee that should <br />symptoms arise for either <br />themselves or their household <br />member, they may be eligible <br />for Federal Emergency Leave <br />and/or City Emergency <br />Pandemic Leave. <br />a) Keep the City Administrator <br />aware of these situations, and <br />continue to share information in <br />a timely manner. <br />a) Monitor the situation and may <br />communicate with staff depending on <br />the circumstances.
