Ordinance 847 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby amends Chapter 2001.030 of <br />the Little Canada Municipal Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the stricken <br />material as follows: <br /> <br />2001.030. DEFINITIONS. <br /> <br />(A) Wherever the word "jurisdiction" is used in the Minnesota Uniform State Fire Code, it shall <br />be held to mean the City of Little Canada. <br /> <br />(B) Wherever the term "corporation counsel" is used in the Minnesota Uniform State Fire <br />Code, it shall be held to mean the attorney for the City of Little Canada. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby amends Chapter 2001.090 of <br />the Little Canada Municipal Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the stricken <br />material as follows: <br /> <br />2001.090. APPEALS. Written Order Appeals: Any person aggrieved by a written order pursuant <br />to section 108.1 109.1 of the state fire code may, within fifteen (15) days after service of said notice, appeal <br />therefrom to the board of appeals by filing a written notice of appeal with the city administrator. The appeal <br />shall be heard at such time as may be established by the board. The city council of the City of Little Canada <br />shall serve as and constitute the board of appeals. The board may, upon the hearing, affirm in whole or in <br />part or deny the existence of a violation. Pending decision of the board of appeals, the order of the code <br />official shall be stayed unless there is an immediate fire hazard to life or property. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its adoption and <br />publication. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 23rd day of September, 2020 <br /> <br /> <br />By: ________________________________ <br /> John T.
