<br />has a 12-15 week lead time and would like to get the shelter ordered and move forward with <br />removals and site preparation as soon as possible. Therefore, staff believes the quote submitted <br />by Albrecht is competitive and is recommending approval. Albrecht Company has done work in <br />Little Canada before and staff has been pleased with the results. <br /> <br />SOURCE OF FUNDS: <br />This project was budgeted for in the City’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for $75,000. It is <br />anticipated that the project will ultimately cost $86,000.00 in total and $78,965.00 in 2021. <br /> <br />To date, the City has incurred $6,536.00 in engineering costs in 2020 and those fees were paid <br />using 2020 savings on Parks and Recreation consulting fees. Bolton & Menk has indicated there <br />will be approximately $1000.00 in additional engineering costs. <br /> <br />Staff is anticipating savings in other 2021 Parks CIP projects which will keep the Parks CIP from <br />going over budget. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of the purchase of the SteelWorx Gable Shelter from St. Croix <br />Recreation for $29,317.00. <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of the contract with Albrecht for $48,647.50 along with additional <br />engineering costs. <br /> <br /> <br />
