<br />With discussion on future development activities, it will be helpful to determine the opportunities <br />for the possible use of existing TIF in these developments. With the discussion of possible future <br />park capital projects, the Plan will identify future tax capacity increases as districts are decertified. <br />In addition, with recent council and staffing changes, it will be helpful as an education tool. <br />FUNDING: <br /> <br />The used of TIF funds are limited to certain expenditures identified by the Minnesota Tax <br />Increment Financing Act (TIF Act). Since the proposed fee is an allowable expenditure, the <br />funding is proposed to be the TIF Funds. While the plan update was not budgeted, there is <br />sufficient funding for this plan update in the TIF Funds. <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Approve the TIF Management Plan Update proposal by Ehlers in an amount to not exceed $12,250. <br /> <br /> <br />
