MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2008 <br />The City Engineer reviewed the Erosion Control Ordinance and indicated <br />that it provides f'or erosion control measures that must be undertaken for <br />any land disturbances. The Engineer also noted that for disturbances of <br />20,000 square feet or greater, a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan <br />(SWPPP) will be required. Again, the Watershed has a one acre threshold <br />of disturbed area before a S WPPP must be submitted. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Allan, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Ms. Allan inhoduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-9-236 - ADOPTING ANAMENDMENT TO <br />THE ZONING CODE ESTABLISHING AN EROSION CONTROL <br />ORDINANCE AS SUBMITTED BY THE CITY ENGINEER AND AS <br />AMENDMENT BY THE COUNCIL IN ITS WORKSHOP MEETING <br />HELD EARLIER THIS EVENING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
