MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2008 <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2008-9-240 -DECLARING COST TO BE <br />ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 2008-02,CONDIT <br />STREET, AND CALLING AN ASSESSMENT HEARING FOR <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2008 AT 7:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CANABURY The City Administrator reviewed his report dated September 18, 2008 <br />TOWNHOMES relative to the Canabury Townhomes request to establish their property <br />HIA as a Housing Improvement Area (HIA) in order to finance a new entrance <br />drive project at their site. The Administrator recommended that a public <br />hearing be called to consider adoption of the HIA ordinance as requested. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO.2008-9-241- CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO <br />CONSIDER ADOPTION OFA HOUSING IMPROVEMENT <br />ORDINANCE FOR CANABURY TOWNHOMES ON WEDNESDAY, <br />OCTOBER 8, 2008 AT 7:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RICHIE The City Adminishator reported that Lauren Development, developers <br />PLACE of Richie Place, have requested asix-month extension for filing for Final <br />Plat approval. It was noted that the City of Maplewood is taking longer <br />than expected with their review process of this proposed plat. The <br />Administrator noted that Maplewood cited delays by Little Canada in <br />getting them information. The Administrator reported that the request for <br />information from Maplewood was just received a couple of weeks ago, <br />and Little Canada promptly responded to the request. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />13 <br />
