MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2008 <br />RESOL UTION NO.2008-9-242 - GRANTING RICHIE PLACE <br />DEVELOPERS ASIX--MONTH EXTENSION TO FILE FOR FINAL <br />PLAT APPROVAL FOR THIS PROJECT (MAY 12, 2009) <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CLOSED The City Attorney recommended that the Council go into <br />SESSION closed session to discuss Ramsey County Case 62C1-07-99, <br />VALOR Valor Enterprises versus the City of Little Canada. The <br />ENTERPRISES City Attorney noted that the League of Minnesota Cities <br />LITIGATION Insurance Trust Attorney James Monge, representing the City of Little <br /> Canada, is present this evening to discuss the status of this litigation. <br />Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-9-243 - TEMPORARILYADJOURNING <br />THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AND GOING INTD <br />CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS THE VALOR ENTERPRISES <br />LITIGATIONAS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITYATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />At 10:07 p.m., the City Council reconvened into regular session. <br />The City Attorney reported that at the closed session the City Council <br />discussed the Valor litigation and LMCIT Attorney James Monge <br />presented options for settlement proposed by Valor Enterprises.
