MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2008 <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2008-9-228 -DENYING THE VARIANCE <br />REQUEST FROM OUTDOOR STORAGE HEIGHT LIMITATIONS <br />FOR RECREATIONAL VEHICLES REQUESTED BY ROGER <br />LILLEMOEN FOR 180 RYAN DRIVE BASED ON THE FINDING OF <br />THE CITY PLANNER OUTLINED IN HIS SEPTEMBER S, 2008 <br />REPORT THAT THERE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ANY UNIQUE <br />CONDITIONS ON THE PROPERTY THAT WOULD CREATE THE <br />REQUIRED HARDSHIP JUSTIFYING A VARIANCE FROM THE <br />CODE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2008-9-229 -DENYING THE VARIANCE FROM <br />SCREENING REQUIREMENTS REQUESTED BYROGER <br />LILLEMOEN FOR 180 RYAN DRIVE BASED ON THE FINDING OF <br />THE CITY PLANNER OUTLINED IN HIS SEPTEMBER S, 2008 <br />REPORT THAT THERE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ANY UNIQUE <br />CONDITIONS ON THE PROPPRTY THAT WOULD CREATE THE <br />REQUIRED HARDSHIP DUSTING A VARIANCE FROM THE CODE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Planner suggested that the Council could table action on the CUP <br />request for outdoor storage, pending action on a Text Amendment relative <br />to the storage of recreation equipment on commercial properties by the <br />property owner. It was the consensus of the Council that the CUP could <br />be acted upon provided that the outdoor storage meet all the conditions <br />outlined in the City Planner's report of September 5, 2008 and City <br />Zoning Codes. The Council agreed that a Text Amendment should be <br />considered on the recreation equipment storage and it would apply to Mr. <br />Lillemoen's CUP accordingly. <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2008-9-230 - APPROVING A CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT TO ALLOW OPENAND OUTDOOR STORAGE OF <br />
