Option 2: Side-Street Stop (Desoto St & School Access are stop controlled, Eli Rd is free) <br /> <br /> <br />Figure 6 shows that with Option 2 the RRFB and pedestrian crossing signage can remain as the <br />eastbound approach is not stop or yield controlled, but the RRFB should be moved so that it is placed <br />directly next to the crossing. Additionally, the existing pedestrian signage should be replaced with the <br />school crossing assembly as described in Section 7B.12 of the MnMUTCD since this is a school crossing. <br />The signs should be double sided so that drivers see both signs from both approaches. This option may <br />require additional warning signs along Eli Rd since the approach is not controlled at a T-intersection. <br /> <br />Figure 7.
