<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br />John Keis <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br />Michael McGraw <br />Tom Fischer <br />Christian Torkelson <br />Teresa Miller <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />JUNE 6, 1946 – JUNE 6, 2021 <br />75TH Anniversary <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada takes special notice and acknowledges the exceptional <br />service the Minnesota Catholic Credit Union has provided for 75 years to Little Canada <br />parishioners; and <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Catholic Credit Union began as St. John’s of Little Canada Credit <br />Union in 1946 in order to provide the first financial institution in Little Canada, and began <br />expanding to other parishes in 1965; and, <br />WHEREAS, St. John’s of Little Canada Credit Union contributed significantly to the growth and <br />development of Little Canada and has been a significant asset to the community by making <br />financial products affordable and accessible, and giving over $50,000 to our member parishes; and <br />WHEREAS, in 2011, St. John’s of Little Canada Credit Union acquired MN Catholic Credit Union <br />and chose to adopt this name as it better represented the community they serve; and, <br />WHEREAS, the year 2021 marks the 75th anniversary of the Minnesota Catholic Credit Union in <br />Little Canada; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, on behalf of the City Council, City Staff and all citizens of Little Canada, I, <br />Mayor John T. Keis, do hereby proclaim June 6, 2021 as <br />“Minnesota Catholic Credit Union Recognition Day” <br />and congratulate the Minnesota Catholic Credit Union in Little Canada as they celebrate their 75th <br />Anniversary. <br />Given under my hand and seal of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota this 26th day of May, 2021. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />______________________________ <br /> John T.
