RESOLUTION <br />CITX OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />1 WHEREAS, the Northwest Youth & Family Services mission is to prepare youth and <br />2 families for healthy lives; <br />3 <br />4 WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada greatly values the contributions Northwest <br />5 Xouth & I'atnily Services has provided fox Little Canada residents foa over 30 years; <br />G <br />7 WHEREAS, Northwest Youth & F~atnily Services of Minnesota is constructing the <br />8 Discovery Center co provide hands-on, experiential learning and physical activity; <br />9 <br />10 WHEREAS, Northwest Youth cat Family Services will utilize the Discovery Center m <br />11 Netter meet the needs of its clients; <br />72 <br />73 WHEREAS, the Discovery Center will be: a community resource for youth sports, <br />74 xneetuxgs, festivals, and family celebrations; <br />l5 <br />76 WI-IEREAS, an estimated 9,000 participants are expected to utilize the Discovery <br />17 Center annually; now therefore <br />18 <br />19 BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Little Canada supports and endorses the Northwest <br />Youth and Family Services Campaign to create the Discovery Center. <br />I certify that the above resolution was adopted by the City Council on __ <br />Signed: <br />'I'iele: <br />Date: <br />Witnessed 13y: <br />'1 itle: <br />Date: <br />11 <br />
