The project scope includes final <br />design of a proposed play node of approximately 54,000 square feet identified in the concept <br />plan of the Phase 1 Master Plan (see attached). These improvements include the following <br />items: <br />•Two playgrounds (for ages 2-5 and 5-12); including unique elements such as a tower <br />structure and obstacle/challenge course equipment <br />•An interactive water feature with naturalized hardscape elements, ground jets, and rock <br />misters/bubblers <br />•Site amenities including a shelter, benches, decorative screen fence, and site landscaping <br />•Site layout and design supporting the integration of elements, multi-use spaces, and <br />intuitive flow between activities <br />PROJECT SCOPE <br />FINAL DESIGN <br />The first phase of the project includes the development of the final design and preliminary site <br />layout. During the final design phase, design elements from the conceptual layout will be <br />examined and refined into a final design package with the locations of major amenities, play <br />equipment, water feature elements, shelter, landscaping, and utilities. Deliverables include: <br />Final design layout plan with proposed improvements identified and limited site <br />improvement details to illustrate design intent <br />Prepare preliminary cost opinion to accompany final design package <br />Attend one (1) meeting to deliver final design package and collect feedback from staff <br />prior to proceeding into construction documents <br />CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION The selected engineer will develop construction <br />documents for the elements described in Task 1: Final Design. Minor modifications are <br />anticipated based on feedback provided by staff in the previous phase, including progress review <br />meetings at 60% and 90% for staff feedback. Deliverables include:
