• Clean ductwork at History Center-$4,500 <br />• Add ceiling fans at Public Works facility for air flow-$9,500 <br />• Miscellaneous office furniture-$3,000 <br /> <br />Administration (Page 32-33) <br />Capital project expenditures in the Administration Department for 2022 include: <br />• Standard computer and network switch upgrades-$10,350 <br />• Replacement cameras-$5,000 <br />• Copier at the City Center that was not replaced in 2021 has been moved to 2022-$15,000 <br />• $7,000 has been included in 2022 to update the Strategic Plan that was last completed in 2019. <br />Parks & Recreation Department (Page 34-39) <br />The 2018 Parks Master Plan and the Pioneer Park Phase 1 Master Plan have been used as the guiding <br />documents to program Parks & Recreation capital projects. Additionally, the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission reviews the CIP annually and provides feedback and recommendations for projects <br />throughout the park system. <br />Highlights of the 2022 projects are as follows: <br />• Gervais Mill Entrance - Upgrade and enhance the Gervais Mill Park Entrance (Noel Street side). <br />The DNR has awarded a grant ($97,000) for Gervais Mill Entrance improvements-$140,500 <br />• Bike racks – Installation of bike racks throughout the city parks has been included to promote <br />bike-friendly parks and recreation-$13,800 <br />• Pioneer Park – Improvements at Pioneer Park include solar-power trail lighting along the <br />perimeter of the trail, installing water service for the water feature that will be installed in <br />2023, and continued turf repair at the soccer field. These items were all identified in the <br />Pioneer Park Phase 1 Master Plan-$148,000 <br />• Rondeau Park – An all-inclusive playground equipment, trail replacement, and installation of a <br />picnic shelter are included in the 2022 projects. Funding for these projects is proposed to be <br />ARPA funds since this park is in a Qualified Census Tract 421.01.-$518,500 <br />• Thunder Bay Park – Improvements at Thunder Bay Park include habitat restoration, trail repair <br />and maintenance, and basketball court resurfacing-$43,500 <br />• In addition, some miscellaneous repairs and updates include <br />o Wood-chipping the playgrounds-$7,000 <br />o Buckthorn removal, tree trimming, field repair, and maintenance at Spooner Park- <br />$27,400 <br />o Message center, outfield fencing at fields 1 & 2, field repair and maintenance, and sport <br />court resurfacing at Pioneer Park $44,500 <br />o War Dog Statue at Veteran’s Park-$3,000 <br />o Interpretive signage and entrance signs at all parks-$53,250 <br />o Park and recreation consultant for park projects-$5,000 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />5
