MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />NOVEMBER 10, 2021 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2 <br />Commissioner Quarles asked the typical impervious limit. <br /> <br />The Community Development Director replied that there is not a limit for impervious and that is <br />regulated by setbacks. <br /> <br />Commissioner Quarles asked if there would be any new stormwater improvements. <br /> <br />The Community Development Director replied that there would not be new stormwater <br />improvements. <br /> <br />Chair Schwalbach commented that the renderings look great, and he appreciates that the business <br />is staying in the community. He noted that although things are changing on the site it seems to <br />be a straightforward request in terms of meeting requirements. <br /> <br /> Johnson introduced the following motion: <br /> <br />RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />(PUD-C) AMENDMENT, LOCATED AT 121 E COUNTY ROAD C, PARCEL ID <br />062922430002 <br /> <br /> The foregoing motion was duly seconded by Buesing. <br /> Ayes (5). Motion passed. <br /> <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT – <br />ADVANCED MASONRY, 2956 YORKTON BLVD. – CASE #1404 <br />The Community Development Director presented a request for a Conditional Use Permit <br />amendment to allow an adjustment to the outdoor storage conditional use permit to allow for <br />racking in the fence storage area of the property to be allowed up to a height of 12 feet, from the <br />eight feet currently allowed. She reviewed the zoning of the property and displayed an aerial <br />photograph of the building and outdoor storage area. She stated that the property does <br />participate in the City’s outdoor storage licensing and is inspected annually for compliance. She <br />stated that staff believes that the submittal requirements have been met and that the request <br />follows the standards of the industrial area. She noted that this will also move to a public <br />hearing at the City Council on December 1st. <br /> <br />Commissioner Buesing asked if the outdoor storage would be construction equipment. <br /> <br />Robert Miller, AMR Properties, commented that they have some racking for outdoor storage that <br />is eight feet in height and the lumber stacked would exceed the eight-foot height. <br /> <br />Commissioner Buesing asked if the shelving could then increase in height to 12 feet with <br />materials on top.
