RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 2022-05 <br /> <br />WOODLYNN AVENUE <br />(RICE STREET TO EAST TERMINUS) <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A feasibility report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of <br />Woodlynn Avenue (from Rice Street to east terminus) by a combination of full depth <br />reclamation and reconstruction with new concrete curb and gutter, and minor/spot improvements <br />to the underground utility systems. This report was received by the Council on December 1, <br />2021, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost- <br />effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of Woodlynn Avenue in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost to the City of Little <br />Canada of $690,042. <br /> <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on January 10, 2022, in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center at 5:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed <br />and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council this 1st day of December, 2021. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> John T.
