Draft Work Program <br />3 October 2019 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />Summary of Additional Maps Needed <br />Note that some of these maps will be created by City staff from GIS or other information; some will <br />be simply be the Metro Council JPEG inserted without change. <br />Introduction – Bill Weber <br />School Districts map --- use the JPEG provided by the Metropolitan Council <br />Land Use Plan – Bryce with Bill Weber and other City staff <br />Existing Land Use <br />o Use more accurate information; use Metropolitan Council GIS data; communicate regarding <br />the coverages and legend <br />Future land use <br />o Check for accuracy and completeness. Show the parks. Add the powerline linear park. <br />Coordinate with the system plan map in the 2018 master plan. <br />Obtain a JPEG map of the zoning pattern from the City and insert it. <br />Transportation Plan – Bryce with mock-ups from Bill Weber <br />The functional classification of roads. Start with the regional system plan and add local collectors. <br />Determine whether the extension of Beam Avenue to Labore Road is feasible; it is shown by the <br />regional plan as an A-Minor Expander road. <br />Current traffic volumes, including heavy commercial vehicles, which include both ADT and <br />HCADT. <br />Forecast 2040 traffic volumes, using the regional model. <br />Regional freight system – use the JPEG from the Metro Council <br />Water Supply Plan -- Bill Dirks with formatting by Bryce <br />Location of City water wells and storage facilities; include the St. Paul Water Utilities corridor <br />and the supply line from the Roselawn Avenue filtration plant. <br />Wastewater Plan – Bill Dirks with formatting by Bryce <br />Map showing the location of: <br />o Lift stations, connection point to the metro system, and future connection points <br />o Local sewer service districts by connection points <br />o Intercommunity connections <br />Surface Water Plan – Bill Dirks with formatting by Bryce <br />Drainage areas, including the path and flow directions of stormwater runoff <br />Parks and Trails Plan – Bill Weber; Bryce will provide JPEGs <br />Locations of existing and proposed local parks, trails and recreation facilities <br />Location of regional parks facilities, including immediately nearby regional parks and trails <br />o Use Figure 2.1 from the 2018 park system master plan for the local and regional park <br />locations <br />o Use Figure 2.5 for the local and regional trails
