Add policies that address identified planning issues. <br />11.0 Implementation Element <br />City staff will add a capital improvements program for transportation, sewers, parks and <br />water supply. <br />Add specificity about zoning code amendments <br />Add a description of how to use, monitor and update the plan before 2028. <br />Determine whether the City should study realigning the northern boundary along the <br />center of I-694 with cooperation from the City of Vadnais Heights. <br />12.0 Document Formatting and Production <br />Edit the text using the Track Changes feature so that City reviewers can see the <br />changes. <br />Save each chapter in Dropbox and give access to City staff members so that everyone <br />can see the progress and edit the chapters. <br />List the maps and tables in the table of contents <br />Easily improve the readability of the Word document by adding headings, selectively <br />using bold face fonts, and narrowing the column width. City staff may make additional <br />formattting improvements as they translate the Word document to InDesign software <br />after acceptance by the Metropolitan Council and final approval by the City Council. <br />City staff may make a PDF of each chapter of the Word document for review by the <br />Metropolitan Council and display on the City’s Website. <br />13.0 City Review <br />As requested, help the City staff receive direction from and review the draft plan with <br />the Planning Commission and City Council. Edit the plan as directed by City Manager. <br />Submit the plan to the Metropolitan Council for review. <br />14.0 Metropolitan Council Review <br />Communicate early and often with the Sector Representative. Provide a draft for an <br />interim review if allowed. <br />Strive to address each item on the Council’s checklist of requirements. <br />Receive comments from the Metropolitan Council via the City Manager and edit the <br />draft plan as needed. <br />15.0 Project Management <br />Coordinate with and direct the City staff throughout the process. <br />Communicate with the City Manager about progress and problems.
