Chapter 915: General Development Requirements <br /> <br /> Page 915-5 <br />(G) One of the dwelling units on the lot shall be owner-occupied. <br />(H) At no time shall the accessory dwelling unit be under separate ownership from the <br />principal structure. <br />(I) The detached accessory dwelling unit shall have the same street address as the principal <br />dwelling unit. “Unit 1” shall be used as the designation for the principal dwelling unit <br />and “Unit 2” for the accessory unit. <br />(J) All accessory dwelling units shall be served by approved public sanitary sewer and <br />water. <br />(K) The detached accessory dwelling unit shall be registered with the City’s Rental <br />Registration Program. As required by the Program, the registration shall be renewed and <br />the detached accessory dwelling unit inspected periodically. At the time of renewal, the <br />property owner shall verify in writing to the Zoning Administrator that one dwelling unit <br />on the property is owner-occupied.
