The intention here is to reduce the over-sizing of <br />parking lots. <br />Front Porches <br />Do you agree that front porches should be allowed to encroach 6 feet into the normal <br />front yard setback of a house. This would allow those porches to be closer to the street <br />that the façade of neighboring houses, although it would be an open porch and not the <br />body of a house. The intention is to not penalize builders for including a front porch. <br />Residential Driveway Widths <br />Do you agree that the maximum width of a driveway for a single-family house should <br />be no more than 18 feet at the property line? That’s less than the present maximum of <br />24 feet but still two cars wide. The driveway may widen as it moves toward the garage. <br />The intention is to reduce its adverse visual effect. <br />Exterior Residential Storage <br />Are you comfortable with the current regulations on exterior storage on residential <br />properties?
