<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Bryce Shearen, Parks & Recreation/Community Services Director <br />Eric Seaburg, P.E., City Engineer <br /> <br />DATE: March 23, 2022 <br /> <br />RE: 2022 Rondeau Park Improvements <br /> <br />ACTIONS TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Motion to award the 2022 Rondeau Park Improvements Project to Sunram Construction, Inc. in <br />the amount of $139,166.96. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the purchase of poured-in-place rubber surfacing from St. Croix Recreation <br />for $119,470.00. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On March 11, 2022 bids were opened for the 2022 Rondeau Park Improvements Project. Site <br />improvements included in the bid package were new sidewalks and trails throughout the park, <br />drainage improvements near the basketball court, drainage and grading to accommodate new <br />shelter and playground, and tree and landscaping plantings. Sunram Construction, Inc. was the <br />lowest bidder with a total bid amount of $139,166.96.
