<br />The base bid for this project included all drainage, asphalt, and concrete improvement work. This <br />bid also included all grading necessary to facilitate the construction of the playground and shade <br />structures. The following table provides updated information on the designated funding sources <br />including American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Capital Improvement Fund (400) for the <br />proposed improvements to Rondeau Park. <br /> <br />In addition to the Rondeau Park Improvement bids, staff has received a quote from St. Croix <br />Recreation (the same company that the playground equipment was purchased from) for the <br />poured-in-place (PIP) rubber surfacing. Poured-in-place rubber surfacing offers one of the best <br />surfaces for ADA accessibility and longevity. The attached quote utilized state contract pricing <br />and includes a discount since we will be utilizing the same company as the playground <br />equipment and they will already be on site. Staff recommends utilizing <br />ARPA funds of $506,768.56 and General Capital Improvement Funds of $23,450.00. The first <br />half of ARPA funds that the City received totaled $533,786.39. <br />
